High Court assault case: 4 lawyers sent to jail on judicial remand
ISLAMABAD: An anti-terrorism court has sent four lawyers arrested in the Islamabad High Court attack case to jail on seven-day judicial remand.
A riot case was heard in the Islamabad High Court in the Islamabad Anti-Terrorism Court. Four lawyers, including Islamabad Bar Secretary Liaqat Kamboh, were produced in the court.
The court granted 7-day judicial remand to the four arrested lawyers and sent all the four lawyers to jail on judicial remand.
The court ordered the four lawyers to reappear on February 19 and also sought a challan from the investigating officer for the next hearing.
It may be recalled that three lawyers were arrested in the Islamabad High Court assault case and one was arrested for vandalism in the Sessions Judge’s Court.
